First Grade Teacher

St. Michael’s Episcopal Day School  is seeking qualified applicants for a First Grade teaching position. In line with NAIS  Principles of Good Practice, an effective St. Michael’s teacher has thorough knowledge, uses a variety of teaching techniques, establishes positive relationships with students, collaborates with colleagues, initiates professional development, supports the mission, serves outside the classroom, and adheres to professional standards. A St. Michael’s teacher must model the school’s core values of integrity, respect, diligence, responsibility and compassion.

The First Grade position includes teaching language arts, social studies, and mathematics. Above all the teacher is expected to create a classroom environment that reflects and promotes the mission of St. Michael’s School.

We seek someone with 3-5 years’ lower grade level experience, with emphasis in differentiation, integrated learning. and a strong curricular background. A Bachelor's degree and Teaching Credential are required, and a Master's Degree preferred.

Administrative Manager

St. Michael’s Episcopal Day School , a premier ECE-8 independent school in Sacramento, CA., is inviting an administrative professional to join their dedicated staff in the role of Administrative Manager.

Responsibilities will include efficiently managing the collaboration of the administrative team. This position involves being a core team member overseeing the business processes in a coordinated way that adds value to a thriving, cohesive team.
