Grandparents Club

Founded in 2007

"Grandparents are an integral and important part of a child's support system, and we are blessed with the opportunity to be involved in the daily lives of our grandchildren who attend St. Michael's School. We provide our support and services to the St. Michael's family."
 -Grandparents Club Mission Statement

The Grandparents Club is a growing group of grandparents who support the school by contributing their time and resources. The group was formed in 2007 by grandparents for grandparents who want to help with events, programs, and projects at St. Michael's. The Grandparents Club is an opportunity for grandparents to be involved in the school life of their grandchildren. We welcome all grandparents near or far to be a part of the Grandparents Club.

Garden Clean-Up Day

Thursday, October 13 after the Grandparents Club Meeting - If you have time to stay after the Grandparents Meeting on Thursday, October 13, we could use your help cleaning-up the school garden.  This is a wonderful resource for the students, and it can use some TLC after the summer.

Christmas Gift Wrap and Bazaar

December 12-13, 2016

The grandparents will be wrapping holiday gifts for St Michael’s families to help ease some of the stress of the busy season.  We will be wrapping gifts on Monday and Tuesday, December 12 and 13, 2016 in the iMAST BUILDING.  This is a service project for the Grandparents Club and we will accept donations that will go back to enrich the school.  Shop early so you can take advantage of this great service!

Please fill out this form in advance before dropping off your gifts.  We will discuss with you a convenient time to pick up your gifts when you drop them off with your list. We have a limited number of boxes so we ask that you provide size appropriate boxes to make our efforts more professional, especially if you have an unusually shaped item.

Grandparents Club Trip to Calistoga

St. Michael’s Grandparents Club is designed to be a service club to help connect grandparents to the school, but they are so much more than that!  Not only do they work hard to participate in the life of the school by volunteering and assisting with fundraising, but they also plan social events to help grandparents get to know each other.  This year, members took a special trip to Calistoga to visit Villa Ca’Toga as one of their social activities.

The trustees are the school's governing board that partners with the Head of School to steward the mission of St. Michael's. This collaboration is a healthy and active part of our school community."
